On March 7, the completion ceremony for the Basic Science Building was held at the KAIST Daejeon campus. The construction began on July, 2011 and took 18 months to complete. The building has 8 floors, of which one floor is located underground and has a gross area of 13,258 m2. The Basic Science Building is set up with state-of-the-art experimental equipments necessary for integrated research.
