"I would advise going to Pulbitmaru more often. The place is not very popular, but rewarding to its regular customers. I sometimes receive free drinks and eggs with my meal, and if you ask for more rice or sauce in your rice bowl, they will add it with no additional charge."

- Miras Kabdygali, School of Computing

"My first life hack at KAIST is that you should always use the water dispensers and try not to buy everything from the vending machine or the groceries. This is because you can really spend a lot of money on [drinks]. The second life hack is that if you want your monthly stipend to be enough for you, you should definitely visit Kaimaru instead of going to Subway or any other places for dining."

- Baiaman Bazarbaev, Freshman

"If you are an introvert and don't like to study in crowded places, you should go to N10 before dinner and to the Main Library after, because there are fewer people there."

- Sabina Abdurakhmanova, School of Electrical Engineering

"When I take lectures, I feel like I benefit more when I study on my own while sitting through the lecture. It does kind of sound terrible, but the lectures are my time to study. I know it sounds weird, but it's a method that works for me."

- David Chong, Freshman
