KAIST Hoodie Sales

For the month of March, the Student Welfare Committee promoted school spirit through a KAIST hoodie sale. The committee received students’ orders from February 22 to 27. There are currently 680 hoodies in production – a total of 630 student orders alongside fifty extra.

The hoodies were sold for 19,000 won this year due to a rise in fabric cost this year. However the committee took into consideration the satisfaction level of last year’s buyers and offered more color options. As opposed to last year’s navy and wine hoodies, three colors are available this year: charcoal, dark blue, and oatmeal.

The hoodies will arrive on March 18 and will be distributed from March 21 through 25, which is the week before midterms. If you have not yet placed an order but would still like to purchase one, a limited supply will be available for purchase following exam week.

Strawberry Party Season

Following the midterm exams, the Student Welfare Committee will be gearing up for the annual KAIST strawberry party in April. Strawberry parties will be held right in time for cherry blossom season, everyday from April 6 through 16 excluding Sundays.

The committee will be selling strawberries by the boxes and kim-bap from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at a vendor in front of Kaimaru (N11, school cafeteria). For faster transactions, you can place orders through the reservation system online at welfare.kaist.ac.kr/strawberry. More information will be available later on as the committee is still in the process of contacting the strawberry suppliers.

Billards Competition

After strawberry parties, there will be a billiards competition for all KAIST students who wish to participate. There are no set dates in place yet, but more details are to be announced after exam week.
