“Entrepreneurship” isperhaps the most popular word of the decade. At this juncture, society is trying to move on to competitive yet sustainable models. Ideas have changed the world in a way like never before. BizWorld at KAIST is bound to provide an opportunity to tweak one’s thinking when faced with real life challenges in the field of global business.

BizWorld is an entrepreneurial student conference that offers a bilateral student exchange program initiated by the KAIST International Student Association. BizWorld has institutional networks with five prestigious universities across Asia, namely National University of Singapore, Peking University, Tokyo University, University of Queensland, and National Taiwan University. The society endeavours to promote the understanding of local business culture and the spirit of entrepreneurship, to create professional networks between prominent universities in Asia, and to forge everlasting friendships among students. Each year BizWorld organizes student exchange activities through collaboration with its diverse network of partnering universities. Moreover, it offers an annual business congress in South Korea that gathers delegates from top Asian universities for a week-long business and entrepreneurial experience.
BizWorld 2014 conference will be held from July 28 to August 2 and will bring in students from all over Asia to the KAIST campus. This six-day conference will include seminars by professionals in the business world, workshops, business case competitions, and visits to two companies - POSCO in Pohang and Hyundai Heavy Industry in Ulsan. This will not only be an enriching interaction session for students with prominent people in the industrial arena, but also a chance for companies and organizations to interact with a diverse group of talented students all over the region. Simultaneously, it will provide insight to scintillating business trends in the Asian markets and beyond. This conference will be a great chance for aspiring entrepreneurs to learn from frontline businesspeople about real world trends and strategies.
