On December 15, STadium, a sports competition between undergraduate students of KAIST, GIST, DGIST, UNIST, and POSTECH was held on KAIST Daejeon campus for the first time. This annual event was temporarily ceased due to COVID-19 and was held for the first time in three years. It aims to promote cultural exchange between the five universities through competition in physical and cyber sports. The sports entries change each year; this year, the games were basketball, badminton, baseball, soccer, and League of Legends. The clubs from KAIST that competed in each sports game were Doolly, K-Bird, Rookie, and Hurricane, respectively. The list of matches for the tournament were randomly drawn by each university representative. Two universities would go to the finals after the first match and the winner of the other two universities would compete with the university that drew a bye to determine the finalist. The event was a great success for KAIST, winning the overall championship of the games.

Many students from KAIST remarked that it was a great opportunity to meet diverse people from different science institutes. Students are looking forward to the next STadium in 2023 at UNIST with more various sports games and a bigger audience.
