General Chemistry I, because it isn't required for my major and would just be a waste of time. (Anonymous)

I think I would remove General Physics I and II. The syllabus of both courses comprise topics which I had already learned in high school, and I believe that I could've used the time I spent completing the two courses in my freshman year for other activities and commitments. (Sheikh Shafayat, School of Computing)

I would choose Physics 2 as I don’t feel there was a direct correlation between my major and this course. (Nabiha, Bio and Brain Engineering)

In my opinion all admitted students should have the option to be exempted from one of the basic courses, whether it be Calculus II or General Biology. Because some majors require some subjects while others don’t, so it makes no sense that as a Computer Science major student I  had to take General Biology. (anonymous, School of Computing)

General chemistry laboratory. I don’t understand how this applies to my subject when chemistry is a much more niche field than physics. (anonymous)

General physics laboratory. It’s too much work to do for a freshman and given that it is worth only one credit, it’s useless to spend much time on it. (Jihoon Hwang, School of Computing)

Maybe General Physics, because I simply don't like physics. Nothing further. (Ryan Haechan Lim, School of Freshman)

CS101, because it doesn’t feel like an introductory course and the jump in the difficulties between each topic is so high. (Ysa Margarita San Juan, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering)
