On November 10, Daedeoknet (HelloDD) hosted a festival at the sports complex located at the Daedek Innopolis to celebrate its 10th year of publication. HelloDD is an online newspaper, which focuses on science and technology related issues in the Daedeok area. The festival was held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and was open to anyone interested in science and art.

In the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials, visitors experienced the magnetic levitation train. Over at Korea Institute of Energy Research, the ZeroEnergy Town was set up for tours. Also, the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science, and Korea Aerospace Research Institute hosted exhibitions and various events. Also, Golfzon, maker of golf simulators and other golf-related products, exhibited the company’s new moving simulator.

The flea market was hosted by volunteers from the Science Village residents. The market sold local specialties, and the profits from the market were donated to local charities. At the mini-concert, Howl, a men’s quartet, performed sweet harmonies to heighten the autumn feeling.
